No matter what your favorite genre of music is, you’ve probably heard a track or two from the hip hop legend Nas (formerly Nasty Nas) or the son of legendary rasta artist Bob Marley, Damian Marley. You’ve probably heard the addicting “Welcome To Jamrock” by Marley, and you might have heard Nas off of his most recent solo album “Hip Hop Is Dead”. This duo recently released an album together titled “As We Enter”. As We Enter mainly focuses on issues in Africa but minors on a few other topics, like motivational pick-me-up type songs. Together Nas & Damian Marley make an energetic sound that is almost appropriate for the whole family. Honestly, I have no problem playing this in front of my younger siblings, or other kids, there is no money, cars, hoes talk on this CD. It’s like not letting your kid listen to a MLK speech because he cursed. No, I didn’t just compare music to the legendary Martin Luther King Jr.

When music puts you in a trance, when it takes complete control the feeling is breathtaking. It feels like a drug.
